CHALLENGE
The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) needed a way for members to evaluate Life, Spouse, and Disability insurance options. Previously, there was no central tool to view plan details or understand differences in coverage, making selections more time-consuming and difficult. The challenge was to create an intuitive, efficient solution that clearly presented complex information across devices.
SOLUTION
I served as the primary designer and front-end developer for the eligibility tool, leading UX, interface design, front-end development, performance optimization, and ongoing maintenance. The tool features dynamic rate tables, interactive coverage sliders, and detailed plan breakdowns, allowing users to quickly scan and evaluate differences between products at a glance. Throughout the agile process, I incorporated user testing feedback to refine navigation and user flow. I also implemented reporting to track engagement and maintained and enhanced the tool to ensure a secure, reliable, and highly effective experience for AICPA members.
